A traditional Lakeland Farmhouse dating from the 1880's and situated in Chapel Stile in Great Langdale close to the Church, Shop and Wainwrights Inn. The Langdale Pikes stand proudly at the head of the valley and there are magnificent walks in every direction.

The property has been carefully restored and has all modern conveniences but retains a cottage atmosphere. Antique pine furniture, low beams in the slate floored hall, local paintings and prints and comfortable, sympathetic furnishings make this a delightful place to stay.

Warm and cosy in autumn and winter with central heating and an electric or open fire and in summer the south- facing garden and patio are perfect for relaxation and to enjoy the views over the fields to Chapel Stile.

Entering through the hall on your arrival (later the perfect place to unload after a day on the fells) the dining/sitting room ahead and the kitchen, through which is access to the garden. Upstairs a small landing with doors to the bedrooms and newly fitted bathroom with w.c, sink, bath with shower over. The two double rooms are well sized and also have views over the fields
